Drug Testing and Drug Screening

For Employers – Drug Screening Palm Beach

At Urgent Care of the Palm Beaches, we make it easy for you to organize your pre-employment drug screening (including for DOT physicals) and take care of any accident-related or reasonable suspicion drug testing.

If you choose to implement a drug-free workplace program, you will likely qualify for a discount on your workers’ compensation insurance premium. To implement the program properly, you are permitted to test under three main conditions:

  1. Pre-employment drug testing – this includes as part of DOT physicals
  2. Accident-related drug testing – if there is an accident at your job site, the employee(s) involved must be tested immediately to check whether they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  3. Reasonable suspicion – if the employee is behaving strangely (erratic or abnormal behavior), displays characteristics of active drug use, or has been reported to be using drugs

Florida employers may also test employees who want to return to work who had a positive drug test but completed rehabilitation. In some cases, random drug testing may also be permitted.

Three locations for drug screening Palm Beach:

We have three facilities across the Palm Beaches where you can send your new hires to complete their drug screens. If you choose to partner with us for drug screening, we can provide you with health history forms for your potential hires to fill out before coming to our facility in Wellington/Lake Worth, North Palm Beach or West Palm Beach. We offer a full range of drug testing services, including urine screening, laboratory analysis, and alcohol screening via blood or breath. Some test results can be provided instantly, and some will take between 1-3 days to get results from our on-site laboratory.

For Employees – Drug Testing Wellington

If you have recently been hired by a company with a drug-free workplace program, you will need to complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical. As part of this process, you will fill out a health history form as well as give a urine sample (to be done on-site) for drug testing. For DOT physicals, there is a separate form and exam. You will meet with a doctor to check your vital signs and reflexes. Your drug testing results are usually available within 3 days maximum. If anything unusual is found during the physical or drug screen, you can receive a referral to a doctor or visit our walk-in clinic in Wellington.

We have three locations for completing drug screening across the Palm Beaches: drug testing Lake Worth / Wellington, North Palm Beach and West Palm Beach. You just need to stop into whichever clinic is closest to you, whenever it is convenient for you.

We are open 7 days a week to make it as easy as possible to get started at your new job!
