Why it matters

Respiratory infections range from a simple head cold to pneumonia, and the symptoms overlap enough that it is hard to know on your own which one you have. That is exactly what a quick visit sorts out, so you get the right treatment instead of guessing.

Clinic for respiratory illness

How we find out what you have

Your provider listens to your lungs, checks your throat, ears, and oxygen level, and runs the tests that fit your symptoms. We have rapid flu, COVID, and strep tests that give results in minutes, plus chest X-ray on site when a deeper cough or fever suggests something more than a cold. From there we treat the cause, whether that means symptom relief for a virus or an antibiotic for a bacterial infection.

Urgent care or the ER?

Contact us
Most respiratory illness is well suited to urgent care. It is faster and cheaper than an emergency room and does not require an appointment. The ER is for the emergency signs below, when breathing itself is the problem.

Your visit

What to expect at your visit

Walk in to any of our three locations. You are usually seen within about ten minutes, and we handle testing, treatment, and any prescription in the same visit. We accept most major insurance and offer fair cash pricing. For simple symptoms, a telemedicine visit is also an option if you would rather stay home.

Emergency warning signs

When breathing trouble is an emergency

Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room if you have severe trouble breathing, chest pain, blue lips or fingertips, confusion, or you are coughing up blood. For everything short of that, walk in and we will take care of you.

FAQ

Respiratory illness questions, answered

Is it a cold, the flu, or COVID?
The symptoms overlap, so testing is the only sure way to tell. We run rapid flu and COVID tests on site and have results in minutes, which also helps us choose the right treatment.
Do you take chest X-rays?
Yes. Every location has digital X-ray on site, so if your cough or fever suggests pneumonia, we can look at your lungs during the same visit.
When should I get a cough checked?
If a cough lasts more than two to three weeks, comes with a high fever or chest pain, or makes it hard to breathe, come in. Any trouble breathing is a reason to be seen right away.
Can I do a virtual visit?
For simple cold and cough symptoms, yes. If we think you need a test or a lung exam, we will ask you to come in to the nearest clinic.
