Not every problem needs a trip to the clinic. With a telemedicine visit, you talk to one of our providers by phone or video from home, get a diagnosis, and have a prescription sent to your pharmacy when appropriate. It is a fast option for common, non-emergency concerns.
The cost is $99 per visit for cash paying patients.
All patients with insurance or Medicare will be responsible only for the co-pays or deductibles as dictated by their insurance plan.
All appointments can be made online or by calling our office.
If you make an appointment online, please choose the telemedicine tab. You will receive a call shortly thereafter to guide you on how to login to our patient portal (Healow agent).
If you are a case manager and are making an online appointment for a patient, please enter the patient phone number and email for us to contact them. You may fax us any additional information.
What our telemedicine service treats:
What our telemedicine service treats:
We cannot prescribe controlled substances online, and some problems need a hands-on exam or a test we can only do at the clinic. If that is the case, we ask you to come in to whichever location is closest. When you are unsure whether a virtual visit fits, call us and we will tell you honestly. Most major insurance plans are accepted, and cash-pay pricing is available too.
We have made our virtual urgent care services in South Florida seamless and uncomplicated for our patients. Our staff will guide you on how to login to our client portal.
Telemedicine has many benefits, especially in the time of COVID-19. The biggest advantage of telehealth or telemedicine urgent care in Florida is convenience.
Patients will be able to consult from anywhere in Florida, without compromising the quality of medical care they receive. Telemedicine also saves travel time and the patient can be easily monitored via video calls and other web tools, especially if the patient has a condition that makes traveling difficult or if the patient is suffering from a chronic illness.
The system and portal that we use to provide telehealth for urgent care in Palm Beach are secure and safe to use, even as data is accessible to us in the digital space. We make sure that any information you provide will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
Generally, patients have a better outcome when medical care is accessible and available when they need them. Through telemedicine, we bring our services even closer to our patients.
The obvious disadvantage of telemedicine is the lack of direct contact. Patients cannot easily be physically examined, so it will not be available to all medical cases. For this reason, we limit our telemedicine services to cases we mentioned above. If your condition warrants, you might also be asked to go to our clinic personally for a follow-up examination.
Here at Urgent Care of the Palm Beaches, our goal is to make every effort to meet your expectations and provide you with the highest quality of medical care.
Telemedicine is available in all of our locations:
Likewise, we remain open at this time in all of our locations: West Palm Beach, Juno Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, and Palm Springs/Forest Hill Blvd. If you have further questions about telemedicine in Palm Beach, don’t hesitate to contact us.
